Of course relaxing isn't the only thing you come to the rainforest for, you want some adventure and sightseeing too!
Our kayak and jungle excursions are very original, since no other lodges use kayaks, and we've chosen this way of showing you the jungle because it brings you much closer to nature, and allows you to see more animals because you make much less noise than a motorboat!

We have full package tours from 3 days / 2 nights that include everything, or half- and full-day tours that you can buy separately from your stay at the lodge.

Kayak Adventure Tour
3 days / 2 nights (1 night jungle camping, 1 night Anaconda Lodge)
Price: USD $150 per person, all inclusive.

Day 1:
Arrival. Transfer from the airport to Anaconda Lodge. Lunch in the Thai Restaurant of Anaconda Lodge. Transfer by car to the lake Tupac Amaru (40 minutes). Taking the kayaks (26 kg each) 150 m downhill to the lake Tupac Amaru. Setting up camp. Piraña fishing and birdwatching on the lake Tupac Amaru and other lagoons nearby. Dinner at the campsite. At night we can watch caymans and other nocturnal animals.

Day 2:
Breakfast, during the morning we’ll have enough time to do fishing and birdwatching. We pass through a very narrow channel to reach another lake. Lunch at the lake. In the afternoon we transport the kayaks 150 meters from the lake to the Madre de Dios river. Kayaktrip down the Madre de Dios (3 to 4 hours) with the possibility to do some goldmining on a beach (only during dry season). Transfer from the port (Puerto Maldonado) to Anaconda Lodge. Candlelit Thai buffet and a glass of wine, lodging at Anaconda Lodge, where you have the chance to freshen up in the pool.

Day 3:
American breakfast, a nice swim in the pool. Transfer to the airport.

Comments:
The river Madre de Dios flows slowly (no rapids) and our kayaks are designed for beginners. Everybody who is not afraid of water (big river) can do it. But you need a sportive character to transport the kayaks and equipment. You will get wet and dirty on this trip. Don't forget to bring a strong sunblock.


Anaconda Sandoval Tour
3 days / 2 nights (2 nights at the lodge)
Price: USD $180 per person, all inclusive.

Day 1:
Arrival. Transfer from the airport to Anaconda Lodge. Lunch in the Thai Restaurant of Anaconda Lodge. Guided tour through the Botanical Garden of Anaconda Lodge. Afternoon and evening time to visit the city (public transport, 6 km) and/or the snake farm. Candlelit dinner, Thai buffet and a glass of wine at Anaconda Lodge.

Day 2:
American breakfast. Transfer to the port of Puerto Maldonado. Downriver the Madre de Dios by peque-pueque motorboat (8 km, 25 minutes). One and a half hour walking through the Tambopata Reserve Zone to the lake Sandoval. Boattrip (no motor) on the lake to watch turtles, hoatzins, herons, rails, macaws, kingfisher and many other exotic birds and you have more than a 50% chance to see monkeys, giant river otters and caymans. Animals are protected and fishing is not allowed. Lunch near the lake. Guided jungle tour and walking back to Madre de Dios river, boattrip back to Puerto Maldonado. Candlelit dinner and a glass of wine at Anaconda Lodge.

Day 3:
American breakfast. Transfer to the airport.

Sandoval Lake and Kayaking Madre de Dios
4 days / 3 nights
Price: USD $260 per person, all inclusive.

Day 1:
Arrival. Transfer from the airport to Anaconda Lodge. Lunch in the Thai Restaurant of Anaconda Lodge. Guided tour through the Botanical Garden of Anaconda Lodge. Time to visit the city of Puerto Maldonado (6 km, public transport) or/and snakefarm. Candlelit dinner, Thai buffet and a glass of wine at Anaconda Lodge.

Day 2:
American breakfast. Transfer to the river Madre de Dios (45 minutes). Kayaking downriver the Madre de Dios. The river flows slowly, there are no rapids and our kayaks are designed for beginners. Lunch at a beach with the possibility to do some goldmining (only during dry season). Transfer from the port (Puerto Maldonado) to Anaconda Lodge. Candlelit dinner and a glass of wine at Anaconda Lodge.
-Note: There is an option for sporty people with an adventurous mind to do Tupac Amaru lake + narrow channel + lake without a name + Madre de Dios river in one day as described in the Kayak Adventure Tour.

Day 3:
American breakfast. Transfer to the port of Puerto Maldonado. Downriver the Madre de Dios by peque-peque motorboat (8 km, 25 minutes).
