Anaconda Lodge is ready to receive you and introduce you to
the amazing natural life that is the Peruvian Amazon rainforest.
Our cabins are constructed with material from the region,
and are located in a beautiful part of Puerto Maldonado, outside of the city
to give you that real jungle feel, but at the same time
very accessible by being close to the airport, and at only 15 minutes to the centre
of town.
The Amazon
The Amazon jungle of Peru where our lodge is located, has the highest biodiversity of the world.
To underline, in every square metre you will find hundreds of different species of flora and fauna.
Apart from this biodiversity, you can get to know spectacular sights such as the stunning Lake Sandoval,
enjoy the colorshow of the macaw claylicks, spot the eyes of the caiman and expand your knowledge in
medicinal rituals with indigenous people of the rainforest.

A new pizza oven and tropical music video shot at the Lodge
June was a very busy and fun month for the lodge! The German amateur boxing champion Ralf Morgenthaler finished
building a traditional clay pizza oven, a wonderful addition to our facilities.
And the Peruvian salsa band "Madera Fina" chose the lodge as the setting for the video of their latest song!

We just can´t stop our excitement about Peru´s biodiversity! This also includes the many animals that
are found here, of which in its turn many are home to the rainforest around the lodge. Have a look at
